Bluetooth Connectivity Configuration
You can connect the card reader to a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) using Bluetooth
pairing. Configuring this connection is done in two steps. The first step activates the
pairing on the card reader and the second step initiates the actual pairing with your
smartphone or tablet.
The card reader can be paired with only one mobile device at a time and must go through the
pairing process before it can be connected to another mobile device.
In some cases, the card reader device name might still appear in the list of connected
Bluetooth devices on one mobile device, even after it has been connected to another mobile
device. Before starting the pairing process on another mobile device, delete the card reader
device name from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on the first mobile device.
If you have an iOS 9.0.X device, see this
page for instructions.
On the card reader, do the following:
- Start the card reader by pressing the power key and wait until the Bluetooth logo appears in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Hold down the green key until the Bluetooth symbol located in the upper left corner of the display starts to blink.
