Custom Integration

If you need more flexibility than the ready-made PayButton provides, you can build your own custom integration (user interface) on top of our iOS and Android SDKs. Before starting a custom Integration, evaluate whether the PayButton can fulfill your needs.

To start processing live transactions, follow these steps:

1	Integrate the SDK: Install the SDK in your application. Perform the first transaction from your own app.

2	Implement the following mandatory features in your app: Integrate a signature screen. If your app will be used by multiple merchants: load merchant data from your backend to route payments correctly. Enable the merchant to email or print ready-made receipts. (Optional) You also can enable the merchant to abort transactions.

3	Enable optional features and backend integration: Enable the merchant to refund transactions. Implement a Pre-Authorization and Capture payment workflow. Create custom receipts for your merchant. Enable the merchant to ask for a tip on the card reader. Using our API, access and control payments directly from the backend: Your backend can be notified about transaction events with WebHooks, you can register and query transactions and issuerefunds and receipts.

4	Go Live: Test your integration to make sure your app behaves as expected: Order a developer kit to test your app using a test card reader and card. Run a set of test cases and submit your receipts and a video of a transaction to us for review. Complete these last steps. After review and approval from your account manager, you can go live and start processing transactions.
