Merchant Setup

Windows Setup

You can connect the Verifone e355 card reader with a Windows PC via USB or WiFi.

Connecting via USB

Download the Verifone Windows Unified Driver.

Install the driver and click the Single device system
checkbox.

Verify that the Verifone e355 is running in USB Mode as described in USB Connectivity Configuration, and connect it to the PC using the USB cable.

In the Device Manager
of the Windows PC, the Verifone e355 should now appear under Ports (COM ; LPT)
named VX GEN 3 Terminal
.

Specify this COM Port
when setting up the PayServer.

Connecting via WiFi

There is no Windows-specific set up required for WiFi connectivity. However, follow these steps to ensure connectivity is successful.

Make sure to set up the WiFI connectivity correctly.

Specify the correct IP Address (or Hostname) of the Verifone card reader when setting up the PayServer.
